Abstract

In addition to the COVID-19 pandemic and the changes in the education systems afterward; due to the earthquake disasters in our country, distance/online education has become compulsory, and courses have been moved to digital platforms. Sketching on large surfaces with traditional drawing materials has been replaced by projects shared in the virtual environment with the help of interfaces using tablets and computers. With the "life fits in the house" approach, it has been seen that it is possible to carry out many activities in the house or even in just one room. In this context, the study evaluated the changing learning styles in a sample of "teen room" spaces for university students studying design. After the studies were analyzed through the spaces and furnishings of teen rooms identified through a screening strategy, and then the adaptation of teen rooms to the process and its aftermath was sought. Data were obtained through the observation method from the determined study group. As a result of the study, it was determined that the education system and the social world have an impact on sample. With the increasing use of screens, it has been observed that the surfaces can be included in the design for different functions. Under the leadership of this study, the fact that the changes in social life can be mirrored and the fact that change can be monitored through spaces has been revealed with the qualitative data obtained and the content analysis method.
