Abstract

Wayfinding design is an interdisciplinary design approach. Depending on architectural qualities, this approach focuses on spatial user experience, including product design, graphic design, and digital design. This study presents the wayfinding design developed by Başak Atalay Design Studio under the author's consultancy for the Bergama Cultural Center project designed by Emre Arolat Architects. In this context, the methodology, design process, and outputs of the wayfinding design are examined and the contribution of the wayfinding scenario to the historical environment and the project is analyzed. The main purpose of the qualitative study is to academically examine the project belonging to the Aegean region, which has cultural value and contributes to the city's memory.
