Abstract

As a result of researches, it has been revealed that one of the most important causes of negative effects such as stress and health problems brought by the changing lifestyle is insomnia. It has been proven by scientists that this problem can be solved as a result of taking a nap between ten to ninty minutes during the day, and that it will even be more useful and efficient. As a result, nap cabs that allow people to rest, store energy and meet their short-term sleep needs have begun to be designed. When the effect of sleep need on people's lives is investigated, it has been increasingly accepted that especially university students are a population group affected by sleep deficiency. Nap cabs have started to be used by some universities and their numbers are increasing gradually. In this context, within the scope of the study, the MUFFA campus was chosen as the study area, since it contains sleeping areas and the students spend a long time in the workshops, and it is planned to conduct a survey to the campus users in order to determine the requirements related to the subject. Which of the 10 nap cabs in current use, which was determined by the literature studies, would be preferred and the correlation of these preference reasons with the design criteria was examined with a questionnaire.
