Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is 1.5-spaced, Cambria font style; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Ecological Perspective (ECOPERS), the priority of writing your article should be adhered to the general journal rules and your article form should be prepared in accordance with these rules. While uploading your article, it is expected to adhere to the template and the general structure given below.

  • Cambria should be used as the font of the article and 1.5 line spacing should be preferred.
  • The title of the article and the name of the author should be written in bold on the first page of the article. The title should not exceed 12 words.
  • Articles in Turkish should have English and Turkish abstracts. English articles should only include an abstract in English. The abstract should contain no more than 160 words. In the summary section. In the summary section, information such as the subject, scope and purpose of the research should be clearly stated.
  • The study should contain keywords between 3-5 words and should be written just below the abstract section.
  • Main and Sub headings should be written with bullets and numbered. In this section, there may be sections such as material/method, findings, results, discussion/results and results/acknowledgments, if available. No punctuation marks should be used after the chapter titles and subheadings.
  • You should divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections and subsections 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, ...), 1.2, etc. (The abstract is not included in the chapter numbering).
  • The maximum length for articles is 15 pages.
  • In the introduction section, the objectives of the study should be stated and an adequate background provided, avoiding a detailed literature review or a summary of the results.
  • Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively. Care should be taken to include all figures and tables in the text. Your figures and tables should be legible. Your figures should be in high resolution and tables in editable format. If the figures and tables were not created by the author, the source must be specified.
  • It is recommended that you prepare your references in accordance with the APA 6 (No Ampresant) format. All references in the text and bibliography should be consistent with each other. The references should be listed on the last page of the article in their original language.

 Attention Authors:

  • You must organize your article according to the writing conditions specified in the journal. To facilitate this, download and save the ECOPERS Word template file (your research paper format) to your computer.

  • Within the framework of the Ethical principles and responsibilities presented in the title of Publication Ethics, the authors must comply with the section. First submitted articles are checked for plagiarism with iThenticate® (Plagiarism Detection Software) or Turnitin program. If the articles are higher than 20% excluding references, they are sent back to the author for correction.

  • In accordance with the articles on ethical rules, "In studies requiring the approval of the ethics committee, information about the permission to obtain the necessary permissions should be included in the article". Accordingly, it should be stated in the article whether the permission of the ethics committee and/or legal/special permission is required in the articles to be published.
  • Author Contributions Form is ready, save and download the Word template file of ECOPERS to your computer. Upload with your article, CHECKING THE OTHER OPTION.
