Abstract

In this review paper, seedling quality and morphology of Brutian pine (Pinus brutia Ten.) which has the largest natural distribution in Turkey is examined based on early paper of Dilaver (2015), Yilmazer (2017) and Bilir (2019). Results of the study show that seedling quality and morphology are very variable by seed provenance, seedling type and nursery. Beside, the results could be applied on nursery practices of the species. It is clear that present seedling quality of Turkish Standard Institute is not sufficient and new quality classes needed.
