Author Guidelines

 

ARTICLE WRITING RULES
• While preparing the articles, the "spelling rules" given below, "APA 6-Resource Guide" and International "abbreviations and unit symbols" should be taken into consideration for citing and referencing resources.
• The text should be written in plain language and expression, must comply with the Turkish spelling rules, third-person singular and passive verbs should be used and should not contain transpose sentences.
JASA should be prepared according to the Draft Format.
ARTICLE SECTION CONTENTS
Article title
• Article title should be written in capital letters, 16 font size, bold and “Calibri” font.
• Author Name Surname, Calibri and 13 font size must be written.
• ORCID number, Calibri and 10 font size must be written.
• Author contact information should be written in Calibri, italic and 10 font size.

Turkish and English Abstract

• Abstract should definitely not be more than 150 words.
• In essence, the subject discussed in the article should be briefly introduced, the methods used and the results achieved should be specified.
• The words (maximum 6 words) defining the subject should be given as "Keywords"
1. Introduction
• The importance, scope and purpose of the study should be stated.
Subject headings should be numbered as 1.1., 1.1.1.,

2. Material and Method
• The properties of the materials used in the article, the way they are used, etc. should be included.
• The method used should be described in detail in a clear and understandable way.

3. Research Findings (Research Findings and Discussion)
• This section can optionally be organized as "Research Findings" or "Research Findings and Discussion".

4. Conclusion and Suggestions (Discussion and Conclusion)
• This section can optionally be organized as Conclusion, "Conclusion and Suggestions" or "Discussion and Conclusion".

Thanks and Information
• Necessary information should be provided on articles produced from the graduate thesis or articles supported within the scope of the project, Ethics Committee Permission information, thanking people and institutions, etc. the responsibility lies with the author (s).

Resources
• APA 6 Rules should be applied as reference and use. “APA 6 - Guide to Resource”
• The list of references should be listed first in alphabetical order and then in chronological order.
• In the editing of the sources directory, the first line should be written left-justified, if any, the second and the next lines should be written with 1.00 cm indent.

GENERAL FORMAT AND WRITING PLAN

• 2 cm from the right in writing; 3 cm from the left; 2 cm from the top; 2 cm margin should be left from the bottom.
• Calibri should be used as font and written in 11 font size.
• Only Abstract and keywords should be written in Calibri font, 10 font size and italic. If it is deemed necessary in the tables and figures, the font size can be reduced to 8 points. The text should be in normal font and headings should be in bold font. The italic typeface can be used only when necessary (Latin name, abbreviations, theory / definition, etc.).
• Abstrac, the names and descriptions of the tables and figures in the text, footnotes, the texts in the tables, references and appendices are written using a single line spacing.
• In the main text writing (Abstract, Introduction, Material and Method, Research Findings (and Discussion) and Conclusion and Suggestions (Discussion and Conclusion) sections 1 (one) line spacing is used.
• The interval value before the paragraph (not the line spacing) should be 0 (zero) nk after the entire run, followed by the interval value 6 (six) nk.
• No spaces should be left after the headings and at the end of the paragraphs. Paragraph heads must be left-aligned.
• The text of the article should not exceed 18 pages with tables and figures. Page numbers should be written right aligned at the end of the page.
• In the first and second degree section titles, bold and the first letter of the words should be capitalized, and in the third sub-section titles, bold and the first letter of the first word should be capitalized and the others should be lowercase.
• Tables and figures should be placed immediately after the first sentence in which they are mentioned in the text, and the text must be the same as the typeface. The font size should not be less than 8 and not more than 11. Figure names should be written below the figure and table names should be written on the table. • In the names of figures and tables, the first letter of the sentence should be uppercase and the other letters should be lowercase. • Figure title should be short and descriptive. If there is any other information that needs to be added to the figure title, it can be added. Symbols, abbreviations, terms in the figure should be explained in this section. Tables and figures should be numbered sequentially from the very beginning (Table 1 and Figures 1). If figures and tables are taken from another source, the source must be shown.
• Equations should be written based on the left side of the page. Equations are numbered sequentially. These numbers should be written as (1), (2), (3) on the far right edge of the line. 1 line spacing must be left before and after equations.

References in the text (references)
• (Surname, 2020). or (Surname, 2020, p. 120).

In English studies, "and" should be used instead of "and" if reference is made to a Turkish source, and "and" should be used instead of "and" if reference is made to an English source in a Turkish study. In articles written in English, "and" conjunction or "&" sign are used in publications with two or more authors.
